Below, see which architects to expect:

Perkins Eastman will serve as the master planner and master architect for The Wharf. Already, Perkins Eastman has begun work on The Channel, a 501-unit apartment building, and the Class-A office building, 800 Maine. According to a press release, Perkins Eastman is the horizontal architect for all Phase 2 infrastructure and underground parking.

For Phase 2, SHoP Architects will design two office towers and related retail space on Parcels 6 and 7.

On Parcels 6 and 7, WDG Architecture will also work as the Architect of Record, collaborating with SHoP Architects. WDG Architecture has also been active in Phase 1 as Architect of Record for the VIO condominium residences and Incanto apartments that will deliver this year.

For Parcel 8, ODA will construct a mixed-income, multi-family apartment building with related retail.

Rafael Viñoly, an internationally renowned architectural firm, will work on condominiums on Parcel.

New York City-based Morris Adjmi Architects will work on Parcel 10 to create a commercial office building.

Live-aboard marina services will be headed by STUDIOS Architecture.
Manhattan-based Hollwich Kushner will be behind the redevelopment of the Wharf’s marina.

S9 Architects will be behind Wharf Marina Operations and the Cantina Marina Pier.

Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates will work on M Street Landing, an outdoor space that will connect the waterfront to the Arena Stage.

Finally, Charlottesville-based Wolf | Josey will work on public space design.
