Such a cool shot. The east west view from the park now is just as epic as the north south view from the rivers.

It’s slowly closing in on 1WTC and 432. These are exciting times.

#1891

The 1400’ mark will be exciting. We’ll be in untouched territory for NYC.

#1892

Truly! I gotta take some pictures eventually since I think this will be popping up in new places.

Great vantage point; that crop of glass towers at Hudson Yards looks great from distance. I need to get off this island more often because, as the saying goes, one can not see the forest-through-the-trees.

I like the juxtaposition of the blue glass on the towers and the blue shimmer on the waters surface on the Hudson River.

Union City is a great place to get the view. There is a nice park (Hamilton) on JFK Blvd in Union City, on the cliffs where you can get a great view of HY or Midtown for that matter.

#1896

Is that the place where Hamilton was shot dead in a gunfight duel with Aaron Burr: I recall reading that somewhere. I would like to visit that park; for the historic event, and the vies of NYC high rise architecture.

That park is great. You can even see on Streetview what a great vista you see, but def if you have tourists driving into NJ, turn off into Weehawken after the helix and you can get to that park in like 3 min:

This pic must be a couple years old:
