I’m sure there are better finds on Instagram, but in the meantime you can see a little bit through the blur
(I took this photo from over 4 miles away)

Edit: Just realized this is the same dude that took the pic Thomas posted. He must love 53w53.

He’s been watching it’s progress for a while, as we have. His Instagram is filled with photos of 53W53 and other buildings. I’d give his profile a visit if you have an Insta

How not to convince people New York isn’t an elitist haven for the 1% hahahaha

While making this picture I was nearly run over by Cartier’s delivery bikes making practice runs to 53W53

I am looking forward to seeing how they remove the tower crane at the top of building. It almost seems like they’ll have to reassemble one starting at the base.

The final approach. I didn’t notice it before, but does the main portion of the tower also taper to silver? It appears so from the sides. Also is this now officially in supertall status?

Architectural renderings released late last year actually show it as black. Maybe the sun’s reflection is creating the lighting effect. Or maybe they changed the coloring.

The reflection in the glass looked awesome during last night’s sunset.
