NEW YORK | 50 Hudson Yards (504-522 W 34th) | 1,011 FT | 58 FLOORS

At least he wasn’t inspired by 1 New York Plaza I guess

This thing will be sandwiched in tightly anyways, it’s basically just filler. 3 Hudson is what should be a blockbuster design, but apparently we’re getting a blue glass box…

#469

When the Spiral is the most interesting of the trio to come. :cold_sweat:

Foster sucks. I hope that he doesn’t screw us at JPMC’s HQ.

#474

What a lost opportunity. Foster sucks.

#475

about at street level. Hudson Boulevard will be a yuuuge canyon.

#476

Kinda mad this will block the northern side of 30HY. :man_shrugging:

#477

I agree.

#478

Looks like a city from the future.

#479

Not the highest quality but I only got there after 6. The amount of rebar on site is stunning. Even though this is much further along than Spiral, it got beat in the (meaningless) race to have a fully assembled tower crane.

Taken today by me. The whole top left section was full with concrete by the time I left for the day.

#482

Taken from the 45th floor of 30 Hudson.

#484

Street level

#485

Awh it’s almost like the building is saying, “Hi, @robertwalpole!”

#486

Funny. I think that this will be a very nice tower. My problem is that it could have been amazing like 30 HY or 1 Vandy. I have the same opinion re: 1 MW.

I think that The Spiral will be the best of this group (i.e., office towers currently rising).

#487

Wow – “very nice”? After so many posts spent bitterly decrying this tower and telling us how much you think Foster sucks, that’s quite the turnaround!
