As we can see, excavation is nearly complete

#368

#369

I dont know exactly why they are protesting but I would join them.
This builing is an atrocity

#370

Maybe charge the going market rate for your labor instead of trying to impose a price floor and you’d have a job instead of protesting like bunch of spoiled millennial college kids.

#371

I seem to be in the minority here but I think is a great building and doesn’t take too much away from 30HY next door.

#372

Honestly I kinda like that it’s like “f you guys, I’m a giant box.”

#373

I’m easy on office buildings. I think it will be ok. What’s one more box.

#374

Is the slang “box” for you know what no longer in use?

(With all of the male feminists on this board, it’s not permissible to speak of the female genitalia.)

#375

Agreed, I love the unabashedly massive and dominant buildings.

#376

Huh? :joy:

#377

Today

#378

Won’t be this vast anymore. As three buildings are set to rise, at a minimum.

#379

50 HY, the Spiral, and 1 and 2 MW are enormous missed opportunities. The Spiral is kind of nice. The other suck, though 50 HY is the worst of them.

#380

I agree. It’s all mediocrity. And if 3 Hudson gets built, it will be even worse.

#381

There’s no way3 Hudson will be built. There will be millions of sf of new, empty offices space.

#382

I have no idea what to expect from the Sprial, it just seems like one of those buildings that look way different (in a bad way) from its renderings.

#383

TEC

#384

saw a bunch of these pop on on insta today. I guess they’re still at it.

#385

Considering the crappy design, I’m so uninterested in this tower. What a wasted opportunity.
