Here’s a bigger version from the same site:
Wow, that’s awesome!! Thanks for sharing, Street! I’ve always wanted to see something like this. Never actually expected someone would take the time to create it. I’d love to see it carried into NJ and then the same thing done for CPT.
One World Trade isn’t Silverstein Properties. Right?
I agree, Chris.
That’s a great video.
I can’t wait for them to turn on the lighting in that crown!
The penthouse here is truly a mansion in the sky. Not sure it will break the record at 220 CPS, but I imagine this could approach $200,000,000. The entire 3rd floor is an epic event space.
I took the drawings from the DOB filing for the kitchen and cleaned them up a bit. Enjoy!
A few points:
- This was approved in Jan 2016 so it is possible there were more changes since then.
- Balconys line up with the latest renderings and models I’ve seen.
- Anyone know why there is an elevator on the top floor near the kitchen? That can only go up, but there should only be mechanical space above. It is a private elevator so maybe there is more space above? Some more outdoor space? Very odd.
- They refer to the top floor as the 93rd floor, but I believe it is the highest occupied floor in the building.
Is this really going to be 131 floors or is it just vanity for marketing purposes?
131 is marketing speak. I’ve seen 99 thrown around, which makes sense if the top penthouse goes to 93 (6 mechanical floors above seems right). The base has very high floors for Nordstrom so this thing will have fewer floors than expected for its height.
You can already see the crane for this tower as you head east on Route 3 down the big hill before Route 21.
Saw it yesterday from rt 3 driving home.
The saying, “Pictures don’t do it justice” is REALLY the case here. The cantilever is huge. HUGE.
Great pics Robert
