Very cool! Nice find
rumor has it, steel cranes around 6/1
That's really cool!
Thanks, VG. It really helps one to conceptualize the site. It looks great.
It does. I really hope McCourt can build a Highline connection through his site connecting to Manhattan West's Breezeway.
Would be super convenient and nice to continously walk to highline/ Hudson Plaza w/o going down to street level
Steel has resumed on the south side!
I think I came
Slow your roll buddy
McKool would join the law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and the National Hockey League, which have already signed on for more than 700,000 square feet combined at the 2.1 million-square-foot tower.
Glass, glass and more glass.
Since when will the second tower have a different base, with large outer columns? Why make them so mismatched?
Nice one, Gentrification
I like that they will be different. Both will look great I think.
The only reason I can think of for the difference may be that 2MW is supposedly all steel (I think John_Falcone said this) like 30HY so they may have had to have support columns on the outside instead of relying on a central core to support the overhanging steel on 1MW.
Honestly, I hope that 2 MW won't rise for a long time. There are many other towers I'd rather see rise first, like 2 WTC, the Spiral, and the Girasole.
This area needs a lot of TLC!
